Draft Framework Masterplan

A Framework Masterplan Document has been produced to show how the various components will work together, including the following:

  • An outline the collective vision for the proposed development, in the context of the wider Tewkesbury Garden Town 
  • Setting out the known constraints and opportunities for the site
  • Describing and illustrating the roles of Greenspaces and Nature
  • Explaining the Movement and Access principles both in and around the land
  • Providing a Placemaking Strategy outlining the strategic position of key place-making components, including land use and density
  • Providing information on the approach to Sustainability using the One Planet Living approach
  • Including a Framework Masterplan which shows the land uses and key elements of the site
  • Providing an indicative Phasing and Delivery Strategy including details of the social, community, transportation, and other physical infrastructure to be delivered in connection with the land
  • Providing a framework for establishing commonality between future planning applications, submitting reserved matters applications, and discharging planning conditions.
